Testimonials - Uflow
a quick quantitative way to convince the medical authorities PDF Print E-mail

I am a prostate cancer patient and acquired a problem with urethral stricture following my treatment with high dose rate brachytherapy and external beam radiotherapy nearly 3 years ago. The problem is that scar tissue forms continually and this forms a partial blockage of my urethra. It is quite alarming when your urethra is blocked to the extent that you have to pee every twenty minutes. I have had three operations to try to remove the scar tissue and stretch my urethra. However, I have now settled into a pattern of inserting a catheter once a week and this is sufficient to keep my urethra open and stop the scar tissue forming a blockage. The Uflow meter is sufficiently sensitive that I can measure my flow rate at the beginning of the week, notice that it declines during the week and then measure the increase of flow rate after I have catheterised myself and cleared the blockage. I would recommend it to any man who has flow problems and needs a quick quantitative way to convince the medical authorities that he has a problem that needs investigating.

I tried it out and it worked perfectly. It's a wonderful invention. I'll certainly show my medical friends.
