Black Country Reinvestment Society (BCRS) played host to an international visitor recently. Senor Adauto Ferreira Lemos, of Espirito Santo, Brazil, visited the UK on a group study exchange with the Rotary Club of Great Britain.

Paul Kalinauckas, chief executive of BCRS, escorted Senor Lemos on a full day’s tour of Wolverhampton businesses including Wolverhampton Manufacturing Advisory Service West Midlands (MASWM) and medical products innovators Medical Devices Technology International (MTDi).

MDTi now in its fourth year of being accredited with Investors in People Status, from the leading People Management Standard, were once again presented with a certificate of achievement at this year’s 2010 Celebratory High Tea at the stunning Birmingham’s Botanical Gardens.

Shirley Akin Operational Director of MDTI said “Investors in People is all about looking after your people and this is reinforced with our company. We all truly believe in the objectives and values of the business and strive at every level to improve the performance of each other by managing and developing our most valuable asset, this being our people”.

MDTi sponsored the St John’s Ambulance event in Newcastle.
